Any subsequent call attempts require them to re-register again. If they re-register, they can then dial out but without audio like the other user. If they do not do so, the screen flashes to the dial screen for a moment before jumping back to the presence information screen without ever making the call. Some users are not able to dial out until they re-register their client with the server. If they click the record button, audio is heard, but stops once record is disabled again.Ģ. Some users are not receiving audio when dialing out from the client.

Update: More than two months later, and the app hasn't been updated, let alone fixed. This app must have a perpetual garbage supply.

Calling this software a dumpster fire is unkind to dumpster fires because those eventually run out of garbage. Then it exploded into flames - beachballs, videos not popping up, force quits required. It acutally worked well for about 36 hours. Let’s use it.Ģ.8.2 Update: Having deleted 2.8.1 of the app and updated to MacOS 11.1, I saw app 2.8.2 was out and tried again. There are plenty of resources to do it all.
Computers have the most processing power, storage, and network bandwidth (if wired) of all our devices. Overall, it would be nice to have a single point where I can change every single thing instead of having to bounce between app, website, or mobile app to change something. although the world is so connected with their mobile devices these days, it would be nice to set my motion zones on a computer screen with a mouse instead of having to try and do this on a little phone screen where it doesn’t even display the whole camera view or even let you push your zones outside the (screen) visible area where you know the camera is seeing. The computer app should have the exact same administrative functions you are provided in the mobile app (and maybe even the website).

The video library is nice, and ability to download them is also handy for archiving events, but it needs so much more. In addition, it still needs added functionality. Now it won’t quit properly - just hangs and requires a force quit. Had some trouble with the app after installing the update, and it finally launched after restarting the computer.
